"Every now and then I and others can't get to "Talk of the Villages." It's a DNS error. This is a new problem that started about a month ago. The only ISP that has this problem is Century Link and the only site we can't get to is "Talk of the Villages." Some made a system change disconnecting from the CL DNS server and connecting to the Google DNS server. That seems to resolve the issue. Not everyone is comfortable changing anything on their network since it worked flawlessly before for years, for everyone."

I think you have expressed yourself perfectly. We are obviously not from The Geek Squad. I don't want to reprogram my beautiful computer on the chance that it may work. Next time if there is one and I get kicked off I will try the connection without my home Wifi on my cell and if it connects I will change back to the Devil Company for our Internet Provider.
I am taking a total guess here but i really think it is CENTURYLINK'S problem and TOTV'S is an innocent victim as are we. Just a hunch.
