I can see how easily the rocks fall out of the flower bed and onto the lawn. I don't want to have to worry about a rock projectile. I'm going to try to lower my expectations of a manicured look on the property and just let the grass grow up to the metal edge. The horizontal "edging" with the week wacker up to the metal edge will have to be good enough to maintain the flower beds. I'll spray any grass that creeps into the flower beds with Round-Up.
