How about his idea for a thread----it's named "Speaking of" in order to participate you have to change the direction of the thread. For example:

We were motionless. He left to look in the garage. They were on his head. I said to my sister I'm not going to tell him, you tell him. She didn't want to tell him either.
Speaking of [any story would work about fathers, garages, glasses, tempers, sisters, kitchens] And then someone else would start a new story.
To take it to the next level we could ask the readers if it's a true story or a made up story.
