How about this,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, get some scrap Styrofoam, left at the curb sides for pickup, then use two very large cable ties available from electric supply or from Home Depot?
Just a suggestion. Styro foam may be available form the Furniture stores too. A lot of it comes with TV sets.
