One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) - Rotten Tomatoes

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was in released 1975, Five Easy Pieces in 1970.

I remember getting hold the bun orders when I worked as an assistant manager at the concession at Bower's Mansion. It overlooked the swimming pool which had a number of very cute female life guards.

Hold the chicken is still amusing. I never had anyone order a bun and not the burger.

This work experience carried along as I was often called "That hot dog salesman" by my chief rival at the U of MN Law Library for positions. Hold the hot dog! I thought that a few times around her but never said it to her. Glad I did not. Would have been in BIG trouble.

I also managed a concession stand which sold hot dogs at the Idlewild Park's Softball diamond in Reno, Nevada. And worked at the food service in a Junior Ski Program up on Slide Mountain between Reno and Lake Tahoe.

We never made toast that I remember but would often toast the hamburger buns.

These were Summer and/or Winter jobs while I was getting my two BAs at the University of Nevada, Reno and taking many extra courses while playing with Graduate School.

I used to talk quite a bit about One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest with one of the partners of this food concession business. He went onto become the Warden of the Northern Nevada prison that OJ Simpson was held at for a while even though my old boss probably had retired before OJ Simpson was one of the inmates there.
