Bitter? No, but as the O.P. of this thread, I found the comment I copied offensive, angry and to use your word -- bitter.

I purposely did not comment on it initially because I thought perhaps it just hit me wrong. I have not changed my opinion and was even very surprised that it passed the Moderator's smell test and was not removed.
I found the comment arrogant!

My real opinion is that too many "old" people here get bent out of shape for too many insignificant things.
My use of "old" is not a chronological number; it is a mindset!
