Mothers are Definitely Underpaid!
The Bureau of Labor Statistics calculates wages for jobs, and adding up the amount for jobs done by mothers who work only in the home would provide anyone with a fairly decent income.
Being a mother may just be the world's most challenging job.
Think you can put a price on being a mother? Try $143,102. That's according to Salary.com. That includes a base salary of $48,509 for the standard 40-hour work week as well as 52 hours of overtime that equate for the extra $94,593. And honestly, it’s worth every penny.
