I can't believe that some of you are so rigid as to never let a cart through or refuse to go when a car driver is nice enough to allow you to proceed.

The reason many of us do not accept the wave is the hope those who do the waving get the message.
What message?
The traffic behind them....does not expect them to stop!!!
Some times there are more than one behind them not expecting to stop.
We all know that getting residents to follow the rules/laws is far too often futile.
Sorta like stop signs/speed limits/fixing ball marks on greens/raking bunkers/filling divots/et al.
Has nothing to do with rigidity....all to do with impact on fellow residents (VS feel good wavers).
