A unique portion of the Trent Severn is the last lock which is a lock in name only- a marine railway called "Le Grand Chute" where our boat was lifted over land and a roadway & slides on tails into Georgian Bay--again Wow !!!--THe Canadian waters are crystal clear, like the Bahamas-in our boating life we probably locked thru close to a 1000 times
Another great trip, was the year we went to Montreal,Quebec, Ottawa & Nova Scotia--were in Ottawa for Canada Day and then went down "The Flight of 7"--seven locks in a row that lead to the St. Lawrence Seaway--spent a few days @ Chateau Montebello--very classy & elegant--hotel/marina
