Some good insights here. I like your "just go to bed" suggestion the best, Nucky, especially since my ruckus usually starts because I'm tired and cranky anyway. But a very smart woman once told me 2 ways to tackle difficult situations. One is "don't engage", in other words do NOTHING as you said. The second is to mentality visualize and tell yourself to "let the train go by". Now if I could just discipline myself to do those things when the situation arises......
