At this time we should also remember the children of the women and men who serve. They pay a terrific price and are seldom recognized. When I see a child run to his or her father or mother who are returning from serving I think of the terrible price they are also paying. No parent at a lot of their achievements or if living with them the changing of schools and friends all the time. They carry a lot of hurt through life. Many suffer from what is known as "Separation Syndrome" which means they are unable to attach themselves to things in life because they are so use to losing them. Just a thought to put them in your prayers.
