Yep.
I've just been paying my Comcast/XFINITY monthly bill (using bill pay every month through my bank, never on automatic pay because I've heard too many horror stories on trying to stop it once you start) but haven't really looked at the bill in a while...until this thread.
I can see now where there are some things I can do without (one of them being the landline I'm paying for, but which I don't even have one hooked up in the house...and only use cell phones).
But even with 'Extreme 105 Internet/multiple boxes/HD Technology Fee/Digital Preferred/Netflix/Etc'....
$235 a month (before movie rentals) seems high.
Now the next battle will be trying to reduce the things I don't use...without losing the stuff I do use/want.
But hey, it could be worse I guess, as my monthly bill includes a $39.95
reduction...because of a
'bundle package discount.'
I guess it's time to give Comcast/XFINITY a call and threaten with changing companies, but in doing some research (and reading the threads here) I have yet to see a consensus on which company is consistently better...and doesn't have their own issues.
