Depends on how big your lanai is and how much sun does it get. Mine is large and gets lots of PM sun. Have Mitsubishi "Mr. Slim" model, provides A/C and heat, very reliable, very quiet, not intrusive as it mounts near ceiling on wall. $4800 install, may be cheaper depending on size required.
