The outer cape, Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown, have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Provincetown, incidentally, is where the Pilgrims landed—not that Plymouth Rock nonsense. Provincetown also has wonderful restaurants like The Mews, The Red Inn, and Front Street, to name just a few.


In general, the cape is VERY expensive. The Brass Key is lovely. The Provincetown Inn is less expensive, if in need of renovation. Check out Provincetown.com for more.
