Ditto to your comment. I worked in the wholesale liquor and beer business in the 70s and early 80s and cost per ounce is pretty low. I’m not in tune with the prices any longer but if a wholesale for the standard half barrel that bars use they should be able to yield 165 12 ounce glasses of brew. Let’s say the half barrel cost $85. 165 glasses @ $3= $495. Profit on a half barrel isn’t too bad.
