Sorry, our parents thought they were doing a good thing for us. Both my parents went to Catholic school as well. I don’t get it. Although growing up in the 30’s was no walk in the park and their parents were 19th century folk raised by 19th century folk. Going to school was probably a relief. NOTHING better than being a kid in the 60’s.
