Better off with a separate range hood from the ceiling above stove and microwave. If microwave eventually dies you will have to reroute the ductwork and if you do duct it you will lose the cabinet it's attached to. The microwave itself doesn't need a duct, it's the stove/oven under it. Microwaves are sealed. The "exhaust" fan that is part of the microwave doesn't exhaust the microwave itself it's basically just an air filter. This is all assuming you are referring to the "standard" (GE?) microwave they hang under the cabinet over the stove.
