I've worked on IBM mainframes, IBM Pcs, Apple pcs, Texas Instruments mini computer (not a pc) and many other computers over the years. I find it suits my needs.

Why do people continue to not address the original posters issues? Apple? Chromebook? They are Windows users and have invested considerable funds in their current tech. I'm sure they do not want to change platforms, only resolve their issue.
Chromebooks are great, but not germane to this post for help.
