As GracieGirl has said, the sprinklers are running to lower the water levels in the various bodies of water. It's a tough battle with all the rain we've been receiving but best we do it now in preparation for possible storms that may come our way this storm season.

There may be a reason the pond has been lowered/drained, call DPM and ask the question.

Why you are paying an amenity fee is because you are contractually obligated to according to the purchase contract you signed. Why it is even an issue in your post is a mystery as the water retention systems are maintained and funded through the annual maintenance fee we all pay each year with our property tax. Understand your community and how it is funded.
