When I contributed to a thread about it a few weeks ago I was chided and told the lightning thing and it was suggested that I'm OCD about sinkholes and maybe I shouldn't move to TV. Yet here we are again - residents (people who already moved here) talking about another sink hole.

Where are the lightning strike threads?
Oh we have lots of them. There is a gentleman who calls himself "Lightning" on this Forum and he will come to any club or gathering to talk to people in The Villages on the subject. He has learned a lot on the subject from the University of Florida and he speaks on how best to protect yourself and your home from a lightning strike and does not support any business in particular. (Lightning rods etc.)

The last time I remember the subject of Lightning strikes there were 13 homes burnt to the ground in The Villages from lightning strikes. No lives were lost and no person harmed.

You can look at this thread. There are lots of them on the subject of lightning;

Lightning caused house fires
