We have had Cambria for 12 years up north. It is scratch resistant and very good. Heat resistant also. We don't put a hot pan on it directly. Isn't worth the risk. We cut on it but try to use cutting boards. We just had Doc's install NEW Cambria in our home in The Villages. We love it. Do not need to treat it. Clean with vinegar and water. Recommended by Cambria which is close to our hometown. Cost, 68-75 bucks a sq. ft. installed. GOOD LUCK !!
