Today was good for the soul. As we were heading out to the fire, going by houses, we saw a lot of thank you signs. I bet more than half the houses had them. Now mind you these people were just let back into their houses yesterday afternoon after being evacuated for the better part of a week. They cared enough to come home and one of the first things they did was show their appreciation. Sure humbles you when they take the time out of their stressful situation to acknowledge your efforts.
