Also ask your PCP for advice. I used Dr. Eithier at the Villages Specialty Care group and am satisfied, but as Ooper stated, you will get a lot of recommendations since most of us are satisfied with our surgeon. We have had several in our neighborhood that have had knees and hips replaced and most had different surgeons. I have yet to have someone say they made a mistake and had a lousy surgeon.....we never make those mistakes
