NOTHING like a desk job to wreak havoc with your back. After his first 10-15 years of standing at his job all day my husband was promoted to a desk job for the next 15 or so. He loved what he did but it was a killer for someone who had a bad back to begin with. If not for his determination to continue going to the gym even after a 10-12 hour day, he probably would be crippled today. Of course, those kind of hours wreaked some havoc on the homelife. Monday through Friday I pretty much felt like a single parent. On top of that if I was working the weekends we hardly saw one another. Sometimes we both look back and wonder how we kept it together and today being home so much together we're amazed we don't kill each other - lol. I guess that's how we both tolerated our recent 3 weeks away from each other. Writing this makes me realize how blessed we've been to have such a strong relationship after all we've been through over the years.
Boy, am I glad I got my NOTHING in at the beginning or I probably would have forgotten it again.
