Re: Obama Aid Associated with Islamic Brotherhood...
gf, the last time you posted about Spencer, I replied with some facts about the man. This is a man who served on a Presidential council but was fired for being too extreme. He has been called an Islamophic. His website, Jihad Watch, has been called an "Internet hate site." And we're supposed to buy into anything this man says? WHY?????
He has been denounced by Karen Armstrong Young (a former nun, British author, authority on religions, especially the Islam religion) and others.
As to Abashi, even Spencer didn't go so far as to say that Abashi was still employed by Obama or his campaign. "Asbahi has not stopped working on behalf of Obama, though. He appeared at the luncheon to say that despite his official exit he was still '110%' behind Obama and that he was participating in campaign conference calls on Muslim outreach." I would like more information about what his participaton in campaign conference calls involved. If he simply gives advice and is not involved in strategies, etc., I could live with it although I wouldn't particularly like it. If he did more, I'd be very uncomfortable. Being an Obama supporter is certainly within his rights. Regardless, I'd want to hear it from a source other than Spencer. A hatemonger is not someone I put a lot of credence in.
