I felt sorry for her on the inside but on the outside I would look at the screen, raise my eyebrows and agree that he sure was something. So I retire and plan a trip to the west coast including a stay at the Lawrence Welk Resort in Escondido, Cali. I swore my immediate family to secrecy because I knew the abuse I would get if my sibs found out. [btw, it was a nice place, the price was right, but I felt like I let Crosby down and cut my hair---and he knows it]

My mother also loved the Lawrence Welk show and watched it until she died. Those were NOTHING but kinder gentler times. I feel like my parents now when I complain about the trash on TV.
