Maybe you just need some back-up to buy your car. You know, like my son and my former boss (both Italians, of course) who took a trip to Italy and wanted a refund on one night in Venice. My son saw that my boss was not making headway in his request so he motioned for him to step aside as he proceeded to go up to the concierge and tell him, "This could be the beginning of a very good day or a very bad day...." Next thing you know the manager comes out, refunds their additional night, and tells them to go on and have a nice day.
Of course, it probably was a result of them seeing a scuffle outside of the hotel the night before and as the manager came out to apologize for that happening in front of them, my son tells him, "Oh that's NOTHING. In Philadelphia someone would have been shot."
