I decided to give this its own thread as it started when I asked Kahuna a question about the Annenberg Foundation. In summary, I have learned that the Annenberg Foundation supports both FactCheck and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. William Ayers was the founder and driving force and Barack Obama was the Chairman of Chicago's Annenberg Challenge. A brewing controversy, just google the Annenberg papers, concerns whether Obama used foundation funds to reward political allies. It is obvious that Ayers was not just a guy from the neighborhood. If you don't mind doing a little keystoke research with subjects that conflict with your political persuasion, please, take a chance. It may not sway you but, it may help you understand why many are skeptical.

I went to Wikipedia to learn more about Ayers. He was a driving force behind the Weathermen who were responsible for many bombings, bank robberies and killings, including police officers. Bombings and killings to this day he is unrepentant for and says coldly that he should have done more bombings. Check the Wikipedia "Bill Ayers" link and the Brinks robbery. He was also connected to the two terrorists who blew themselves up in Greenwich Village making a bomb that was to be detonated at the NCO club dance at Ft. Dix, NJ. Ayers and his wife are the legal guardians of Kathy Boudin's daughter Chesa. Boudin is still in jail for killing a cop in the Brinks robbery. That robbery was committed by Black Liberation and Weatherman terrorists. Be sure to follow-up on the links on the Ayers page. They are more revealing than the Ayers page itself.

According to Wikipedia, Ayers is a self proclaimed communist. He is also the driving force behind the Chicago Annenberg Challenge where Obama was the Chairman of the Board. Wikipedia interestingly states that FactCheck claims to be nonpartisan. Kind of hedges against it being objective.

I have learned that you could write a book about the William Ayers, Barack Obama, radical Weather Underground, Annenberg and Black Liberation Army connection. A lot of innocent people died as the result of Ayers domestic terrorist acts. Throw in some research into Obama's mentor Saul Alinsky and Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". If you really want to get the full picture, curl up with Saul's book some rainy day. If you are a radical or Communist, you probably already have. Add some research into Reverend Wright's Black Liberation Theology and a very scary picture developes. Now look back at my opening paragraph, re: Ayre's, Obama, Annenberg.

Please, do not take my word. Take some time. Read the links on Wikipedia and see where they take you. Think about the bombings, the killings, the politics. I remember Nikita Khrushchev pounding his shoe and saying "We will bury you." He later said this:
