And just because his dad was a Muslim does not make Barack a Muslim.

However, after spending 20 years under the religious tutelage of a Black Liberation Theology pastor, I would suspect that Mr. Obama has some Black Liberation Theology leanings. That racist life philosophy could be worse for this nation than merely being a Muslim.

To address your question: I will speculate that with an Obama presidency we will move a little sooner to a more constrictive practice of political correctness that will erode some of the freedoms of speech, press, and expression we now take for granted. It will be increasingly difficult, for example, to express concern about terrorist threats or suspicious individuals. Minority religions like Islam will achieve much greater status through accommodation in the public square and will be granted more rights than Christianity is currently allowed. We will see what can be called a religious denominational version of affirmative action where "minority" religions are given preference. The implications can make your "tongue in cheek" examples seem trivial by comparison. Unfortunately, even without Barack as president, we will see this trend due to the bullying tactics of many Muslim organizations. He will just accelerate the accommodation.
First of all I want to thank you for posting I certainly appreciate it. While it may appear we are on different sides in my experience individuals can often find common ground. I totally hate political correctness and believe it has gone to far. And we could have a fairly good discussion on affirmative action.

I would hope that our system of government with the 3 equal branches would be able to with stand any challenge to religious freedom no matter who was President.

The threat of terrorism is great, we can and will be hit again but we must never ever allow the threat to rule our lives...if we do that then the terrorists win. After 9/11 I had to go to Europe every piece of clothing right down to my shoes and socks had an American flag on them. It was my way of saying I will NOT allow you to scare me.

Have a good weekend.
