Bucco...my friend....because you are a TOTV....I will look into Obama...the sad part is...that no matter what I find...and I am being honest here...that no matter what groups he is in...no matter what his beliefs are...

I am hearing the following: that women will have choice, that women will have equal pay and that my family will be taken care of when/if one of us goes to the hospital or passes on....., that my brothers will come home sooner than later from a war that I hate in the first place...

In the post above yours our friend Boomer writes how sad she is about her party. That she feels slapped in the face and she feels forgotten about from her party. I can only speculate and I apologize if I am wrong but my guess is that it is because the republicans chose a woman...for the sake of her being a woman! I am not speaking for Boomer...although I cried for her....(I really did Boom).

I know I wrote in a different blog that many women felt insulted that McCain chose a woman. I was berated and told how wrong I was....Boomer is a great example of those women. My S is a republican....imagine that...and she felt completely insulted. McCain would have been better off asking Hillary!! I probably would have voted for that ticket.

Bucco...while I know we have had words in the past....and I really tried to stay away from the political threads....but I can't help but try to find the truth....I expressed my opinion of Palin's family....and many thought I was bringing up an issue that had nothing to do with her being VP.....I still disagree....although these other issues seem to be worse yet in my opinion.....

I will probably read and research more about Obama....but honestly...it will not change my vote. It will probably just sadden me more....and I will feel more like Boomer...just on the other side of the fence...

I guess all we can do is hope, pray (to whomever you wish) and hold on tight....as one....republicans and democrats....together here in TOTV....are place for sanity and freedom to say what ever we wish! I will gladly sit with anyone one of you...for a cup of joe, a glass of wine, a beer....knowing that we are blessed with friends here on TOTV.....and we can all try to educate each other...but knowing in the end no matter who gets voted in to office....we still have this beautiful heaven on earth (TV's) to enjoy with friends...

I am so sappy tonight.....better go to town square to pep up!!!
