Very rocky. A lot has happened to me. But some years are much more eventful than others. Like the 1983 Memorial Day mudslide at Bower's Mansion in Washoe Valley. I was working with Rich at the Bower's Mansion concession when an avalanche fell into a mountain lake which flooded from the overflow and sent a 50 feet wall of water down a canyon. Down into homes and picnickers in Davis Creek. About 1/2 a mile or so from us. There were many families at Bower's Mansion at the time but thankfully the water went down a different side of the Mountain.
Quite a sight that huge wall of mud in the road.
Not for NOTHING I sometimes tell fellow walkers not to be around me as a sinkhole might open up right next to me.
It is usually the people near me that have the various problems though.
My Dad handled the insurance claims of several of the houses that were damaged or ruined by the Davis Creek Mudslide of Memorial Day 1983.
Several trails, much to see at Davis Creek | NevadaAppeal.com
