As a Villager in Tamarind Grove, that statement doesn't pertain to me. Wildwood might of gotten more taxes from 2000 homes, but for me it would of been like Pine Hills and LaBelle but on the west side. That's about 4,000 more people at same amount of stores. I certainly prefer what we've gotten instead, Lowes, ABC Liquor, Aldis, Circle K and soon to come Jersey Mike's, Publix, Taco Bell and Wendys.

Another poster earlier said watch for all the kids when referring to the 400 homes to be added on the corner by a separate developer. In comparison, Bison Valley and Villages of Parkwood both off CR 101 (Belvedere) is 300 homes total with no age restrictions and I never see any kids at Southern Trace Shopping Center.

As far as pasture views, there's only one street of cottages and one street of designer homes that can relate to those views, the rest of Tamarind Grove is landlocked just like Buttonwood and Pennecamp. My views are of a golf course, some of Tamarind Grove is on the east side of St. Charles and we have two executive courses, Southern Star and Yankee Clipper.

My view is, bring on the development, that's my biggest complaint about this place, not enough commercial business without driving 9 miles to 466 or 441/27. My parents lived in Hernando County in Spring Hill in a gated retired community called Timber Pines. Right outside their gate was US Hwy 19, a 6 lane divided road all the way to St. Pete, (60 miles) of non-stop businesses. If there is anything you want, you'll find it on Hwy 19.
