I want to share a happy memory along these lines. Many years ago when our two daughters were in High School and the older one was well liked and Helene was being bullied by one kid at the neighborhood pool. Older sib told some friends on the basketball team about the bullying and unkind and taunting remarks and one day I was sitting at the pool and Older Daughter and the tall guys arrived. She pointed to the bully in the water and the group of three or four guys jumped in. One went up to the kid and said; Helene is my friend and I hear someone has been rotten to her. Do you know who that is? And he pushed the kids head under water. The kid said NO. I don't KNOW. And Karl (I remember to this day who it was) Said, Well if you EVER see anyone who is mean to Helene, I want you to tell ME. and Pushed the kids head under water again for a moment. The kid said he sure would. This happened four or five times and the rest of the tall guys stood closeby shaking their heads in agreement. They jumped out, gave me a hug and left. He stopped.

NOTHING but a great story. Also NOTHING but a NOTHING Violation.. lol
