She pointed to the bully in the water and the group of three or four guys jumped in. One went up to the kid and said; Helene is my friend and I hear someone has been rotten to her. Do you know who that is? And he pushed the kids head under water. The kid said NO. I don't KNOW. And Karl (I remember to this day who it was) Said, Well if you EVER see anyone who is mean to Helene, I want you to tell ME. and Pushed the kids head under water again for a moment. The kid said he sure would. This happened four or five times and the rest of the tall guys stood closeby shaking their heads in agreement. They jumped out, gave me a hug and left. He stopped.

You're just like me. When you tell a story that pulls at your heartstrings, you forget your NOTHING.
Having said that, sometimes it takes a man or group of men to get the job done. But I can't help but notice the genius of the person who thought to initiate this - a woman, of course.

Thanks for taking the time to share.
