The last time I checked, Sen. Obama's qualifications on economics are ..... I'm still looking! His B.A. is in political science (with a specialization in international relations), Juris Doctor curricula does not include "economics," and few professors of Constitutional Law dabble in economic theory as part of classroom preparation.
Unless he is so genius as to be able to create viable policy without training or experience in an area of unquestionalble complexity, whatever "economic policy" Sen. Obama preaches has to have been prepared by others versed in the subject and then fed into the teleprompter. At least Sen. McCain admits not being a
know-it-all and needing counsel from technical experts on complex disciplines before taking the stage.
