I visited Jim Davis at the Florida Extension Office. It's at Morse and 466, in the same building as the tax collector (doesn't really say Fla. Extension Office anywhere that I could find, but it's at the far north end of the building)

Jim spent about 20 minutes talking all sorts of landscape stuff to me, just a really nice and knowledgeable guy. Also a wealth of info from the kiosk there if he's not around.

Anyway, if you need info without the landscapers trying to sell you something, this is a good place to visit.
