I never got a parking ticket so I am confused. They claim I parked in a prohibited area on September 13th, which is impossible. We do have a car in the garage of our Villages home, but we were at our home up north when the alleged parking violation took place. Furthermore, we have never been to the greater Miami area. So we got a ticket while our car was in our garage and we were about 1,300 miles away? Go figure, they do hand out parking tickets, just not to actual violators. Needless to say, I will be on the phone tomorrow to argue my case. Not how I was planning to spend my Monday morning!

That happened to me in NYC many years ago. I went through the "process" of sending proof etc and finally ended up paying the $125 fine. In the end I would have had to have taken to "ticket court" in NYC. Just wasn't worth the time or cost.

Hopefully Miami is easier. A cop must have written down someone else's plate number incorrectly.
