I have had very poor luck with all of the solar powered lights. In all cases these failed within a year, from:
1. The solar cell clouded over or the coating failed (note I did remove the initial plastic sheet)
2. The battery failed to hold a charge.
3. Water leaked into the device and caused corrosion, resulting in failure.
4. The typically plastic housing failed due to the intense Florida sunlight.

I gave up, bought Hampton all metal landscape lights (5 year warranty) from Home Depot, the Hampton power supply and landscape wire. These have been in for over 3 years with no problems, come on at sunset, and off at 11 PM.
NOTE: I did not use the clamp on piercing connectors as I have seen these fail before, I cut the wires, use quality crimp connectors, liquid tape, and a heat shrink tubing over the connector so I have a waterproof connection.
Hope this helps.

Send me a PM if you want more detailed info.
