I'm not into the gory, slasher, Halloween type films at all but I do like a good thriller. There were only 2 movies that actually kept me up at night after watching them. One was
Night of the Living Dead, the original one, probably because I was so young and had never seen anything like that before. I mean I grew up thinking the bears in our backyard could open the door and come in if it was unlocked, thanks to an older brother who enjoyed terrorizing me. So the idea of dead people who could do that -

The Silence of the Lambs was the other one, mainly because of the psychological aspects of that movie and the impeccable acting by Anthony Hopkins, of course. It seems I am NOTHING but more careful about what I watch as I get older. I don't need any additional years shaved off my life at this point - lol
