If the cost is 432 dollars, that's a new OEM starter, not a rebuild. This is something we see a lot of as most places just sell a new starter when only new brushes are required.

Buying the cheap aftermarket starters and your asking for trouble. As another poster found out, buying cheap starter brushes, you find that they wear out quick, a good set of brushes will last 10 years if the starter is rebuilt correct., Using the cheaper ones wears out the commutator and instead of saving money, you end up spending more.
