Just got back from the Fenney Bar and Grill, it was full, the food is great and the happy hour half price is for anything they have in the bar, not just the bottom shelf stuff. 36 holes of golf now open, 3 neighborhood recreation centers pools are open, the sports pool, and the zero entry pool at the main rec. center. Air rifle range, archery range, dog parks, putt and play all open. Soon we'll have a remote control boating lake and car track, soccer fields and soft ball fields, gourmet food trucks, Pitch and putt, and a new regional rec. center. Every month there is something new down here and no crowds or heavy traffic. 10 minutes to Brownwood, Publix, Walgreens, Flippers, etc, easy access to the Turnpike and I-75, less than an hour to the Hard Rock in Tampa or the Orlando airport. Great place to live.

Thank you for this post. My wife and I bought our CYV in Fenney last January with the goal of retiring there within the next year or so. In the meantime we visited for 2 weeks in July and will be back again next month. During our July stay we very much enjoyed the pool, rec center, Fenney Grill (agreed on the good food), and general proximity to other Villages and stores. We're excited that the cart path extension is well underway, the timing of which will suit us perfectly. But most of all we enjoyed meeting the welcoming residents of Fenney, our future neighbors. We're counting the days until our next visit.
