Auto train doesn't go to NYC area. What's worse, is that in order to get to the auto train from NYC, you have to drive through the most congested areas. The areas that will cause the most frustration, are the areas you have to drive through.
Going from FL to NYC area means you get to relax on the auto train, and then you have to finish your trip in frustrating congestion.
