BTK, all I can add is to agree with you on a couple fronts.

First of all, I agree that our economic fundamentals are strong despite what folks are saying for political reasons. It appears that the mortgage/credit situation has had longer arms than most though. By the way, can you (or anyone) supply reading material, internet link or otherwise, for someone who is having trouble grasping the actual time line of this credit crisis...most if not all, of the websites I have found are so politically bias it is hard to determine fact from spin.

To your point about the media.....I not only agree with you but think the media cost Sen Clinton the nomination. She was right when she complained about it ! The voters are so swayed by what the media says is happening; does not matter if it is the fact or not. Simply watching certain networks for validation of that fact.

We seem to now live in a spin world...not sure if that is a result of our hi tech speed or the problems are now so complex that that cannot be viewed in black and white !
