Oh my goodness, Kenswing. That is a long story.
This nothing bunch would have loved the early, very early days of TOTV.
Mr. Tony owned and monitored the site. He was a retired newspaper editor and had a good handle on things. He was also a lot of fun. We had kind of a running routine.
One day, the admins added those extra little titles to our pages, based on our number of posts. I wrote a post about how I thought the titles were silly and why I thought so. (All in good fun.)
Some of those little titles had something to do with eagles — there was “Soaring Eagle” and “Golden Eagle” all on a theme. But then there was one that said “Sage.” (Did not exactly go with eagles now did it.)
— — and yes, I admit, I mocked the titles. Eagles? Sage?
And then, one day, Mr. Tony, behind the curtain, must have said, “Abracadabra.” Combining the eagles with the herb, he turned me into “Soaring Parsley” and here I am, still. (He also turned another member, who was a lot of fun, into “Dancing Thyme.”) — I don’t think anybody was turned into “Rosemary” though.
You, sir, are the first one to ask about that. Nothing different about my page was ever noticed, until you spotted it with your “Eagle Eye.”
