Doo Wop On the Porch honored 3 of its active founders Sat. night at Captiva Rec. Ctr. A full house paid tribute to these men who work at and help to keep Doo Wop music alive in the Villages with their weekly Sat morning get togethers at the gazebo opposite Sonny's at Lake Sumter. Musically, the evening started with M&M singing the Doo Wop favorite, When We Get Married, to a full dance floor and other oldies, followed by Jim McGreevey and his smooth style. Forever Young provided a rocking show of rock & roll music to the delight of all there.
