Celebrity Edge Maiden Voyage
We just returned from the Edge maiden voyage out of Ft Lauderdale and were very disappointed. Have sailed many times with with Celebrity and were anxious to try their newest ship. Well unless you are an Elite level or are very wealthy we don’t recommend this ship. Tiffany, Cartier, Coach and other expensive jewelry stores were the main shops. There were 7 Specialty restaurants ranging in price from $55 up to an a la cart raw bar. When at sea there were no activities like trivia or bingo or lectures. Which only left the casino or buffet. WiFi was very expensive and slow. Packages started at $200. We definitely recommend Celebrity’s Solstice class ships but not the new Edge.
