Miss the pool even though I almost drowned in the above ground pool as I was swimming between the ladder rungs and my "friend" pulled the ladder towards him from where it was outside of the pool and I started kicking hard. Gulped some water but the dumb "friend" finally decided to let go of the ladder. I got out and felt like belting him in the nose but did not. Not for NOTHING though. This was in Reno, Nevada. We had a nice pool in Scottsdale, AZ that was in ground but not covered with a screen and the dust storms can be intense in AZ. It did have a motion cover.
We also had a great pool in Palm Harbor, FL that I loved where I would play for hours with my 2 nieces and nephew. They were quite young back then so someone had to keep a close eye on them.
The Palm Harbor pool was in ground and covered with a large bird cage.
I suppose if my ship comes in I might like an in ground pool even though up keep on them is a pain.
Some people seem to be steering the ship to port!!!!! Just hope it does not hit a sandbar! I am not sure who the captain is nor even most of the crew. Have a good guess on some of them and hope they know what they are doing.
The U of MN had a nice pool but I never made use of it but did use the large public pools in Reno or in the Reno area on occasion and Lake Tahoe is rather close but kind of cold.
