As to walking trails, whenever I play golf at Lopez it appears that a lot of walkers are enjoying the Springdale trail.

I’ve read all the posts. I’m just trying to determine whether the area that looks like a quarry almost directly below Fenney/DeSoto is blasting. If Dixie Lime is 2 miles away, this area looks like it might be 1/2 mile or less.
I’ve walked that fitness trail many times but I like to take long walks. I’ve walked to Sumter Landing multiple times from Phillips Villas. I usually ride back with the wife though. Walking long distances in The southern Villages would be much safer as the trails are separate from the golf cart paths.
