I like the one in our tiny summer house (bought it because it killed two birds with one stone) so much I bought one for the house in TV. I use it for anything you can make in a pressure cooker or slow cooker, although I think it runs a tad hot on the slow cooker function, so I cut the time down. I bought the Instant Pot Ultra for down here because while I was waffling between the Duo or the Ultra 6 qt, the Ultra came on sale on Crate & Barrel for $100 with free shipping. It has low & high settings for both slow cooking and pressure cooking.
Visit hippressurecooking.com for ideas on what to make. One of my favorite slow cooker recipes is chicken thighs/chorizo sausage chunks/pimento-stuffed olives in a wine/chicken broth, served over rice. It's a British recipe, so of course English peas on the side.

Skinnytaste.com has a lot of Instant Pot recipes. I like her one pot spaghetti sauce with spaghetti squash, which can be made either in slow cooker or pressure cooker.

I make a lot of vegetarian recipes for myself; a lot of vegetable curries. The rice function works well.
It's just the two of us, so the 6-quart size is perfect.
