People have the freedom to post whatever they want. This board is a prime example of it. It's just funny to me when these edited videos get re-posted elsewhere with the inference that the videos reflect objective truth. These videos are simply the editor's opinion, and nine times out of ten the editor is an unknown quantity him/her/itself.
We both agree that unsubstantiated claims beget corroboration from the serious inquirer. Hopefully, most will seek confirmation before becoming a convert. Better still would be the candidates themselves providing substance versus generalizations and self-platitudes, especially on questions of political relationships and their advisor corps. For me, that would give me some idea who owes whom, thus having a better idea whose names will be added into the 2009 edition of the Plum Book.
